Appleが、iOSデバイスのケース設計に関するガイドライン「Apple デバイス用ケースの設計ガイドライン」を更新しています。
ケースデザインガイドライン「Accessory Design Guidelines for Apple Devices R10」が新しくなっています。
iPhone 11、iPhone 11 Pro、iPhone 11 Pro Max、iPad (7th Generation)、Apple Watch Series 5のケース設計情報が追加されています。
このケースガイドラインは強制ではありませんが、ガイドラインに従っていないケースは、Apple Storeでは取り扱われない可能性があります。
Compliance Testing
Compliance Testingに関する説明が追記されています。
アクセサリー類は、デバイスに接続されたときの機能性について、将来モデルを考慮出来ているわけではないので、推奨テストを使用して設計および実行状態を検証する必要があると説明しています。
