ケータイ Wathが、NTTドコモは、2011年6月17日に行った「第20回 定時株主総会」の中で、株主からの質問への回答として、辻村清行代表取締役副社長が、iPhoneを発売する予定はないとコメントしたと伝えています。

辻村氏は「われわれとしても操作感が非常に優れた端末だと認識している」としながらも「iPhoneには一切の手を加えることができない」とも指摘し、Androidを中心としたスマートフォン製品戦略をとるようです。

Vice President Kiyoyuki Tsujimura, representative director of NTT DOCOMO replied it as follows when a stockholder asked about sale of iPhone.

I asserted that there "was not the plan when NTT DOCOMO released iPhone" while prefacing it when I "was popular worldwide and recognized iPhone and iPad which Apple released when it was a terminal superior in user interface".
