VOGUE JAPANが、2018年11月初旬に来日した、Appleのジョナサン・アイブ CDOへのインタビュー「アップルに魅了される理由とは。ジョニー・アイブに聞きました。 （前編）」「なぜ私たちはアップル製品に魅了されるのか。ジョニー・アイブに聞きました（後編）」を掲載しています。

ジョナサン・アイブ氏は「アップルが自社でソフトウェアとユーザーインターフェイスの開発を行っているおかげで、同業界における他社のセット製品にはない独自の体験が得られる」と話したそうです。

インタビューを行ったVOGUE JAPANのファッション・ディレクター増田さをり氏は「どんな質問にもまるで数式を解くように答え、アップル流のオチをつける。話を聞いていると頭のなかが整理されていく話し方にすっかり引き込まれました。」と感想を述べています。

Yakushima is famous for their World Heritage Area where it’s rich in cedar forests and nature. Under the tour’s theme being “The Pulse of Senses”, guests experienced the nature with all full five senses using the Apple Watch Hermès. That being doing a meditation with mindfulness app or walking Yakushima Land using workout app, guests felt their pulse and by sharping senses, relished the nature and harmonious nature sounds. Dinner was another extraordinary experience. Japanese sous-chef, Tetsuro Maeda of restaurant Asador Etxebarri which is in Atxondo of the Basque country of Spain presented magnificent cuisine using the ingredients of Yakushima.
